Free entry and Founding Fans
Each X account may claim one free allocation of 100 Starter Fan Points for one artist. The first 25 valid participants to claim them for each artist receive a permanent numbered Founding Fan badge. Free points count in the monthly and all-time rankings and have no cash value.
FanRank may reject or remove free points and badges obtained through duplicate accounts, automation, fraud or abuse. Paid point packs remain optional and are governed by the payment and refund terms below.
1. What you buy
A purchase adds promotional Fan Points to your handle and selected artist and publishes your ranking position after payment confirmation. It may also display your avatar and a public link to your X profile. It does not purchase tickets, music, artist merchandise, an investment, an official vote, a donation to the artist or rights in an artist's name or image. Payment goes to the FanRank operator, not the artist.
Fan Points are used only to order visibility within FanRank. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred or redeemed for money, prizes or products and do not represent support officially recognised by an artist.
2. Operation and price
You may purchase packs of 100 Fan Points for $1 USD, 500 for $5 USD or 1,000 for $10 USD for the current calendar month's ranking, calculated using mainland Spain time. Each purchase is added to the monthly total for the same handle and artist. Every buyer receives a visible position, although it may change when others add points. The price shown before checkout is the total charged, including applicable indirect taxes where required. There is no subscription.
Monthly Fan Points are also added to the all-time ranking for the same handle and artist. Stripe processes payment in United States dollars (USD). Points and position are published only after payment confirmation. A pending payment session may remain open for a limited time and is cancelled if abandoned or expired.
A referrer may earn 100 Bonus Fan Points when a distinct new X account uses their link and completes its first eligible purchase within the attribution window. Only one reward is issued per invited account. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, automation, fraud and refunded transactions do not qualify. Promotional points are applied to the artist chosen when claimed, count towards monthly and all-time rankings and have no cash value.
3. Immediate performance and withdrawal
By accepting the Fan Points terms and paying, you expressly request performance during the statutory withdrawal period. You acknowledge that the main service—adding the points and publishing your entry—is fully performed when Stripe confirms payment and the points become visible, and that once completed you lose the right to withdraw from that fully performed service.
4. Position and month changes
Another user accumulating more Fan Points may change your position and does not generate a refund because your points and entry remain published. Monthly points continue to count in the all-time ranking. The monthly restart also does not generate a refund. FanRank does not guarantee any position or minimum duration at number one.
5. X account and conduct
You must connect your X account before purchasing Fan Points. FanRank obtains the handle directly through authorization and displays a verified-account badge; this badge only confirms that you authorized that account, is not X's official identity verification and does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by X. Impersonation, threats, discrimination, sexual content, third-party personal data, spam, abusive automation, fraud and unlawful use are prohibited. FanRank may remove or hide abusive content and take proportionate protective measures.
6. Errors and changes
If a technical error prevents publication of a paid entry, FanRank will try to restore it or issue the appropriate refund. New bids may be paused for maintenance or security. Material changes apply to future purchases and not retroactively unless legally required.
